Jodi Osgood, LVT
Jodi has always wanted to work with animals growing up, and she was adamant about pursuing a veterinary career. She started when she was fifteen as a volunteer with her local shelter before attending and graduating with honors from the veterinary technology program at Lone Star College. Jodi passed her exams in 2003 to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician and has spent the last 16 years in a variety of practices. She has worked in small animal medicine, equine medicine, and, more recently, specialty surgical medicine as a surgical scrub and anesthesia technician for a large specialty hospital.
With nearly 20 + years of experience in the veterinary industry, she turned to her second passion - leadership. With lots of experience in leadership rolls over the years, Jodi was very excited to be given the opportunity as a Practice Manager for Cypress Veterinary Hospital.
When not at the hospital, Jodi enjoys her time at home with hubby, Ryan, and their dogs, cats, and a multitude of fish. She likes to write and paint in her spare time; Jodi even has some of her original art hanging in her office.

Angel joined Cypress Veterinary Hospital this year as one of our newest veterinary assistants. Angel’s love for animals started early in life as she was in charge of taking care of all the farm animals and personal pets her family had growing up, leading her to turn that passion into a career as a veterinary technician. Bringing over a year of experience from working at a local hospital in Lafayette, Louisiana, Angel is excited to expand her skills with the help of her caring, helpful, and passionate coworkers.
When not working, Angel enjoys listening to podcasts such as ‘Dr. No Sleep’, playing video games like Sims and Animal Crossing, and spending time working in her garden alongside her pets Bean, Ella, Leo, and Sobek.
